Nothing But The Beat Ultimate the third album by French deejay David Guetta in last two years is also the second re-release of his album Nothing But The Beat released in 2011 followed by sequel Nothing But The Beat 2.0 and then Nothing But The Beat Ultimate!!

Theres no doubt that albums are really good but there has been issues and problems among the fans regarding double re-releases.

Usually re-releases are done of certain albums or songs to recreate their magic or to keep that magic alive or to pay a Tribute to the artist but in this case many Guetta fans, music lovers and even some critics find this re-release thing as a not a very good move.

Lets see it this way, the first album Nothing But The Beat was a huge hit and lots of records were sold and it topped many charts and the it was re-released after a year as  Nothing But The Beat 2.0 with addition of few (around 9) extra songs which was even better than previous one but to enjoy new tracks all music lover would have to buy it again and it got on to nerves when  Nothing But The Beat Ultimate was launched  because it was meaningless to buy a whole new album just for few songs and it even killed or decreased the novelty factor coz majority of tracks ( 23 out of 30 tacks) were from the old album and that was what disgusted or disappointed a lot of people.

But leaving all that things aside on the overall the album is as good as you expect it to be with lots of really good feet pumping music mixing and featuring some fabulous artists which make this album giving a worth shot.

If you haven’t purchased it yet you can get all songs in  Nothing But The Beat Ultimate at

So we earlier discussed the release and the the double re-release of Nothing But The Beat series but we are not here on musicmonstro for  news updates we are here for music updates 😉

Talking of music for me David Guetta songs are mood lifter and they contain something that makes me listen to each song again and again without getting tired. So now  i will take you tour of each and every album to my best knowledge i can…

1.) Nothing But The Beat :

First talking about the first album it was all new package. Nothing was know about re-release and all and so album as expected turned out to be a huge hit.Its songs became chart busters and hot favourites at parties and even for listening and what we call Guetta magic.

Talking of songs each and every song is completely unique and quite a piece in itself.

Out of this my personel favourite are Without You , Turn Me On and I can Only Imagine followed by Crank It Up and Titanium and Little Bad Girl. But if you are a party animal you’ll undoubtebly love the whole album.

2.)  Nothing But The Beat 2.0 :

Leaving all re-release talk behind and going to over point what this album really had new over the previous one is my personal favourite song of all three albums “She Wolf (Falling To Pieces) feat Sia”. The song being USP and showcase for this sequel is really a total masterpiece including some brillian music mixing by Guettaand singing by Sia.Its one of rare songs that expresses sadness and grief, packed up in a party beat material and both the effects, the lurative singing style and the feet pumping mixing of music, ae so mixed that they look disting as well as a masterpiece perfectly lined up with each other and even its video is quite amazing.

The other new attractions are songs Wild One Two and Metropolis .

3.) Nothing But The Beat Ultimate :

The final release of the Nothing But The Beat series and a probable end .

Not talking much among the new addition the total stand outs are Play Hard and One Last time.

Well thats what i thought of this albums but as i earlier said just grab your copy of album and try it if you love guetta you’ll undoubtebly love most of the tracks and if you want any change or have any doubt you can comment below.

A Tribute to Sir. R D Burman

Posted: January 4, 2013 in MUSIC

The day 4th January,1994 can be considered as a sad day for world and especially Indian music because on this very day indian classical music legend Shri. R D Burman took his last breath. 😦

From 1960s to 90s era of indian music was considered as an era of R D Burman.Almost all hit movies used to have songs composed by him ad he even gave his voice to some songs and gave us timeless musical melodies.

If you know R D Burman and if you have heard even some of his songs you can feel about how much great guy i am talking. His musical contribution to Indian Music is priceless and as a respect he was given attribute of “Pancham Da”. He has composed music for more than 300 Hindi Movies and given us thousands of beautiful songs which are totally unforgettable. His compositions are so great that its not possible to create a list even like R D Burman Top 100 because doing so would be neglecting 900 great musical melodies. Even suggesting R D Burman songs is futile because each musical piece is soulful and beautiful enough to neglect so just Google his name and start listening any of the songs that comes first and i bet you’ll love it. 🙂

Just like list of his amazing songs list of achievements and awards of Pancha,a Da is just endeless you can check everything at

When it comes to music composition and singing R D Burman is a true music maestero. And musicmonstro Respects and pays tribute all such legends.

SHM Performing THE LAST TOUR!!

Posted: December 9, 2012 in MUSIC

The Electronic House Music trio Swedish House Mafia have been talk of the town ever since they announced their Hiatus on June 24, 2012.

The trio consisting of House Disk Jockeys  Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso on their website announced  “Today we want to share with you, that the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey. We came, we raved, we loved.”

From that day their last tour has been talk and demand of the town. The trio formed in Late 2008 was well renowed for their concerts all over the globe!!

The Band has just released 2 Albums namely Until One and Until Now and 7 individual singles. So there is nothing much to recommend but their all singles from first released “Leave The World Behind” to “Sev The World” to the latest and the last “Don’t You Worry Child” are really amazing and worth a shot to experience good quality Electronic music with really nice beats n sound mixing.

But what made this trio so special was their all over the globe concert and from globe i literally mean the globe from big cities like Paris , New York , San Franciso etc. to Delhi , Libosn Malina etc this trio make the whole world jumb to their beats whoie ight and this concerts are definitely worth a visit if your crazy for Electric Music.

Their farewell tour is named as “The Last Tour” and  tour will kick off in November 2012 and conclude in March 2013. Due to extremely high demand, additional shows have been added and the group is also set to make a final appearance at the Ultra Music Festival with an opening and closing set on March 15 and March 24, 2013, respectively.

So this is your last chance to see Mafia trio in action so hurry and book your tickets at

Hurry up its a last chance so don’t miss it!! 🙂

THE FORGOTTEN song from GREEN DAYs upcoming album ¡Tré!.It was first song released from the album releasing earlier this December but whats HOt about this song is that it is Official Theme Song for latest and final TWILIGHT SAGA series movie THE BREAKING DAWN PART – 2.

Well i don’t know much about the movie but i can tell you the song and it is beautiful.Written and Beautifully sung by Green Day’s lead singer Billy Joe Armstrong the is well suited for a romantic series like Twilight.
But what I really liked about this song is that it is completely different from all songs of album ¡Uno! which makes me excited about the upcoming album ¡Tré!.While album ¡Uno! was all electric stuff including songs and tunes which Green Day have been producing in recent times THE FORGOTTEN becomes a complete stand out.
This song is totally non electronic. In it there is use of drums and bass guitar but the acoustic guitar , piano and violin are the instruments used to create magic which is not very much like a Green Day song.Well it is good to see Green Day are going out of their comfort zone and still producing such a miracle.
Well i found this song really similar to their old song “GOOD RIDDANCE(TIME OF YOUR LIFE)” which is very much same to it but i like it more.

Well for all those who are wondering what is this odd song that i have posted.Well my answer is : It is the official Windows 8 song!!
With Windows 8 ads being aired all over the world many of us wonder about its catchy tune and wonder who is the artist.Well she is Australian Singer Lenka’s featuring in her own song “Everything At Once”.
The speciality of song is that its tune is very catchy and make u go humming it all day teamed up with Lenka’s very sweet childish voice and cute lyrics like those in nursery rhymes all put together makes song really a beautiful composition worth giving a try. 🙂
